This policy applies to www.sanyparts.net (the “Website”), operated by SANY Parts, an independent supplier of spare parts for SANY construction machinery. We are not SANY Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. or an official SANY dealer.

If you do not agree with this policy, please do not submit an inquiry or use the Website.

What we collect

Information you send us

When you submit the catalog search, we store the submitted search term, its normalized form, Website language, source page, result count, top result type, any result you open, a pseudonymous browser-session hash and the search time. Autocomplete requests are not written to the search log. This helps us improve matching and identify searches that returned no published result.

When you select a Website WhatsApp button, we create a Reference ID and store:

• the Reference ID
• the source page and button placement
• the Website language
• related published model, category or part identifiers, when available
• the search term you entered, when the button follows a part search
• a pseudonymous browser-session hash and the click time

The Website places this Reference ID and context in the message prepared for WhatsApp. You choose whether to send it and add photos. The Website does not receive or store the rest of the WhatsApp conversation; that conversation is handled by WhatsApp and the devices used by you and our sales team.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Website we may log:

• IP address
• browser user agent
• language preference
• date and time of the request
• pages viewed

This helps us run the site, prevent spam, and see which pages are used.

We do not ask for payment-card numbers on this Website. Quotes are handled by email, phone or WhatsApp. If you later pay a supplier or freight forwarder, their own privacy terms apply.

How we use the information

• reply to inquiries, usually within one working day
• match part numbers to the machine model and serial number you give us
• send catalogues, quotes and shipping updates you asked for
• keep a record of the conversation so we can follow up
• detect automated or abusive submissions
• improve the Website (for example, which machine lines visitors look at)

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use inquiry details for unrelated advertising lists.

Cookies

The Website uses a small number of cookies:

• Language — remembers whether you chose English or Chinese (Paraglide locale cookie).
• Search and WhatsApp attribution — a first-party, HTTP-only random session cookie connects submitted searches and Website clicks within one browser and helps prevent duplicate click records. It expires after 180 days and does not contain your phone number, search term or message.
• Session — only if you sign in to the staff / admin area. Public visitors do not need an account.
• Analytics or ads — only if we enable Google Analytics, Plausible or similar in site settings. Those tools may set their own cookies.

You can block cookies in your browser. Essential language and security cookies may be required for the site to work as intended.

Who we share data with

We may share inquiry details with:

• hosting and email providers that store or send our mail
• logistics or export partners, only if you place an order and we need the destination and contact for shipping
• professional advisers or authorities when the law requires it
• a buyer of the business, under the same kind of confidentiality

We do not publish your inquiry on the public Website.

How long we keep it

Raw catalog search terms are kept for up to 180 days; aggregated search counts may be kept longer without the raw term. Historical inquiry records and WhatsApp click references are kept for as long as we need them to quote, supply parts, handle after-sales questions, measure sources, and meet bookkeeping or legal duties. You can ask us to delete or correct a record; we will do so unless we must keep it for a legal reason.

Where data is stored

The Website and mailbox are operated from China and may use cloud servers in other countries. By sending an inquiry you understand that your information may be processed outside the country where you live.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you
• correct inaccurate details
• delete an inquiry we no longer need
• restrict or object to certain uses
• receive a copy of what you sent us

Children

The Website is aimed at businesses and equipment operators. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
